Well , during the summer months in New Westminster , Canada I would always find ways to make sandwiches to go along with salads as the summer days are warmer.
Here I did a rendition of the family's favourite Morrocan chicken stew dish to a simple morrocan spiced chicken sandwich. This recipe can be used to make a salad if you don't want to eat the sandwich. Just arrange the chicken on top of the salad and it is a morrocan spiced chicken salad. đ Bon Appetit !!
Morrocan Spiced Chicken Sandwich
Ingredients :-
2 pcs chicken breasts - cut into cubes
3 shallots- chopped
2 cloves garlic - minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Whole wheat bread slices
some mayonnaise (add 1/2 tsp smoked paprika + 1/2 cumin powder + 1 tsp fresh lemon juice)
some green lettuce leaves
Method : -
Firstly heat a pan on medium heat and then add some olive oil. Fry the chicken breasts till slighty brown. Add the salt & black pepper to taste.
To serve them , please spread the spiced mayonnaise on to the bread . Arrange the lettuce leaves on top and arrange some chicken cubes on the top. Serve immediately with the mixed salad. Enjoy !!
